Elder Connie Mckoy

Excuetive Pastor

Elder Connie L. McKoy was born in Boston, Massachusetts, May 19, 1962. She is the eldest daughter of the late Constant and Ida Punter. She is a graduate of Brockton High School in Brockton, Massachusetts and attended Becker Junior College and Springfield College with a major in Occupational Therapy. Elder McKoy grew up as a member of the Full Gospel Tabernacle Church in Brockton, Massachusetts where she received Christ at an early age under the leadership of Bishop Nathaniel Williams, Pastor Emeritus. There in her youth she served as the Assistant Secretary of the Sunday school for a time and as a member of the Adult Choir.

In 1982 she married Bishop Paul L. McKoy, II and became a member of the Zion Temple Holy Churches Inc. under the leadership of Bishop Paul L. McKoy Sr. and Founder. There she joined the Adult Choir, served on the Finance Board as Treasurer, served on the Deaconess Board and member of the Pastor’s Aide Committee. Along with her husband she became a member of The Joint College of African American Pentecostal Bishops Congress. She has received her Diploma in the Adjutant Program and a Diploma in the Helpmeets Class. She was also part of the College’s journey to Rome Italy.

On May 4, 2014 she became a Licensed Minister at the Zion Temple Holy Church Inc. where she has become a giver of the Word of God to any one and anywhere she gets the opportunity. She believes in the scripture: “Study to shew thyself approved unto God,” 2 Timothy 2:15. Her favorite scripture is: “I will bless the Lord at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth,” Psalms 34:1..

In 2005, Minister McKoy along with her husband joined the Good Shepherd Baptist Church in Petersburg Virginia under the leadership of Bishop Jeffery Reaves. In 2011, they joined The New Life Anointed Ministries of Woodbridge, Virginia under the leadership of Bishop E.V. Reeves. Elder McKoy and Bishop Paul L. McKoy II are the proud parents of three: Paul L. McKoy III, Anthony D. McKoy and Cherrell (McKoy) Brown ,one son-in-law, Ryan Brown and two daughter-in-law Michelle and Aiko. She is also proud to be the grandmother of ten grandchildren.
